Ontology-based Product Data Management
OPDM, a EU project, has set its goal to provide the necessary methods, technologies and tools for effective product data management by use of Semantic Web technologies. In this project, Smart Information Systems is active as developing partner and holds the role of project manager.
SOFAR
Semantics and Ontologies for Feedback-driven Adaptive Recommender systems
The objective of the SOFAR project is to research and develop auto-adaptive recommender systems. This will ensure that product advisors are automatically kept up-to-date and in accordance with user expectations - without requiring additional maintenance work. Smart Information Systems leads this project as project co-ordinator.
EcoWeb
A dynamic e-dissemination platform for eco-innovation results
This EU project aims at promoting the dissemination of eco-innovations. The SMARTASSISTANT and "Semantic Search" technology ("Smart Search") are applied to provide users in search of suitable eco-innovations with enhanced search functionalities. Smart Information Systems is responsible for the semantic content generation and carries out the overall technical implementation.
